Publicity & Marketing
Once you've got your network in place how will your potential customers decide to choose your services? We are firm believers in the importance of supporting your well run network with prominent and ongoing marketing campaigns.
Once you have visibility how then does your publicity inform intending passengers where, when and how much their journey be?
Publicity
Is your publicity readily available and correct? It might be online, it might be on your app, electronic stop displays or paper timetables and in timetable cases.
When did you last update it? How are third parties using your data?
Publicity in all it's forms remains a key measure in getting your information out to the public. We can audit your current outputs and suggest ways to improve. If you're busy with everything else before a service change we can assist in preparation of updated information or proof read prior to changes.
Marketing
What marketing are you doing to raise awareness of your services?
We can review your current outputs and propose improvements based on our years of successful marketing supporting passenger growth.
We can also support you in linking up with marketing specialists to take your marketing to the next level.
Brand
Whatever your brand it should reflect the values of your organisation. It is more than the colour scheme that the intending passenger sees.
Does your brand flow through to everything you do? We can review your operation, services and collateral to gauge where you are falling short and recognise where it's working well.
Tourism
Encouraging free pass holders and fare payers alike to jump onboard and take a day out by public transport, rather than by car, is an easy way to fill unused capacity on your network and to develop partnerships with organisations in your communities.
As fervent public transport users we can draw up itineraries for areas and routes of your choice complete with recommendations for things to do and places to visit on route. We can also provide photography as required.

Postitive Publicity
Is your publicity doing the bare minimum and delivering little more than the departure times of your services? Are you reliant on someone producing generic multi operator information? Or are you relying on Google Maps to do it all for you?
Good publicity is an amazing start point on your customer experience journey. Public transport relies on knowing where to access it and where it's going. Technology has helped a little with that but even as public transport professionals drop us in a strange town at a bus stop with no information at it and we'll be uncertain.
Without a network map how do your customers know where they could travel to? Google Maps has yet to offer a '"Where can I go?" option and an app won't show you the most scenic route if there's a faster one.
We are experienced in delivering high quality information, through hard copy and digital means, that drive demand and have worked with outside agencies to improve information standards and access to digital information.

Great Days Out by Bus
The leisure market is increasingly important as home working and retail decline continue to reduce the traditional cornerstones of many public transport networks.
Of course there are plenty of examples of tourist orientated services. Open top services in our cities, the brilliant Lakeland bus network and the long standing weekend Dales Bus and Moorsbus networks to name a few.
The opportunity is how operators fill spare capacity on existing services by aiming more specifically at the tourist market.
Our experience includes working with tourist attractions, local businesses, influencers and creating itineraries for potential visitors. Offering added value and guiding those visiting our communities on a relaxing curated tour.
As part of our services we can help you to build itineraries and content that you can then share. Click below to see some examples of what we offer.
